Rob qualified as a dental technician in 1997 from Edinburgh’s Telford College. His early career included extensive experience across both the private sector and ten years within the NHS, working at Glasgow Dental Hospital and Edinburgh Dental Institute, where he developed strong technical foundations in complex prosthetics and restorative dentistry.
In 2009, Rob joined the inaugural UK cohort of the Clinical Dental Technology diploma, qualifying through the Royal College of Surgeons. After becoming a CDT, he worked in private practice delivering comprehensive clinical and technical denture care.
Rob went on to co-found several leading dental businesses, including Scottish Denture Clinic, SDC Lab, New Life Teeth, and New Life Teeth Lab — all contributing to the growth of modern, patient-centred, digitally driven dentistry in the UK. SDC Lab is now proudly part of the Corus family, where Rob continues to lead and develop cutting-edge digital workflows.
A recognised voice in digital dentistry, Rob lectures across the UK on full-arch “all-on-X” solutions, photogrammetry, digital dentures, and advanced laboratory–clinical integration. His work focuses on bringing consistent, high-quality, digitally enabled outcomes to clinicians and patients through innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to best practice.

After qualifying top of her class, Rosa accepted a position at Telford College teaching Dental Technician students. She then completed her vocational training, where she had the opportunity to work alongside patients in Glasgow Dental Hospital. Rosa has experience in all disciplines of dental technology, in both private and commercial dental labs.
Driven by her passion for Dental Technology and her deeper understanding of dentistry needs, Rosa decided to take the exciting step and opened her own dental lab, Scottish Denture Clinic, in 2013. Rosa brings enthusiasm, a warm smile and sincerity to her businesses and workplace.
Outside of dentistry, Rosa loves to spend time with friends and family, enjoys the little things in life and often notices the things other people overlook.

Ali obtained her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2013. She joined the team in 2019 as a Dental Nurse before moving into a management role. Ali quickly demonstrated her unrivalled skills and became our Business Manager in 2023.
During clinical days, Ali works alongside Rob where she enjoys being able to build relationships, and make patients feel at ease with her caring and empathetic approach. Ali loves being part of the patient journey, seeing the transformation and impact treatment can make on people’s lives.
When not in surgery, Ali keeps everyone in check and ensures the smooth running of the dental lab.
Outside work, Ali enjoys socialising, walking her cockapoo Cooper or being somewhere sunny with a Piña colada.

Jade grew up in the Orkney Islands where she trained as a Dental Nurse, focusing on implant surgery and restorative dentistry. She moved to Edinburgh in 2016 to pursue a career in Dental Technology and joined the team at SDC, later qualifying from the University of Aberdeen.
Advancements in digital dentistry enabled Jade to return home to Orkney in 2024, where she now works remotely designing digital dentures and implant planning.
She regularly returns to Edinburgh to stay connected with the SDC team, as well as her friends and family.

Chris is the Crown and Bridge Manager, leading his department with precision, artistry, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. With a refined focus on full-arch restorations, he blends innovation with meticulous craftsmanship to deliver results that redefine aesthetic and functional perfection.
Since qualifying in 2016, Chris has built a distinguished career across Edinburgh and Crieff, developing a sophisticated expertise in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Currently pursuing a Master’s at Cardiff Metropolitan University, he continues to advance his mastery in clinical, technical, and leadership disciplines.
Beyond the lab, Chris channels his energy into running, fitness, and the outdoors - pursuing balance and vitality with the same dedication that defines his professional work.

With over a decade of experience as both a dental technician and dental nurse, Marta fuses technical mastery with a genuine dedication to patient care. She expertly oversees implant planning and the design of surgical guides, ensuring every treatment reflects precision, quality, and flawless execution.
Outside the clinic, Marta embraces an active lifestyle through hiking, yoga, and running, and finds joy in travel and visiting her family in Poland - bringing the same energy and passion to life as she does to her work.

Margaret’s first role in the dental industry was in the Department of Prosthodontics at Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1996, where she gained her qualification as a Dental Technician (1999). Margaret continued to grow her wealth of knowledge and experience, proceeding to gain her Diploma in Dental Technology (2005).
Throughout her time there, she progressed to running her own team in the laboratory, working closely with Professor McCord, restoring complex cancer, cleft palate, and obturator restorations. Margaret owned her own Laboratory in Glasgow specialising in Implant supported restorations and removable prosthetics. She soon gained an excellent reputation providing technical support in her laboratory and clinics alike. Margaret has incorporated Professor Jiro Abe’s suction denture technique into her technical work and now wishes to incorporate this technique into her clinical work for her patients.
Margaret’s wealth of technical expertise can now be brought directly to her patients as she has now successfully qualified as a Clinical Dental Technician (2023).
Margaret's passion for learning is clear as she regularly attends courses both nationally and internationally. She has recently been in Quebec, Canada where she was invited by Panthera, a world-class Dental milling centre to judge in their annual Master Cup competition. Margaret was 1 of 5 international judges where her expertise and professional opinion are respected.

Paul joined our prosthetics team in September 2020 and has brought with him 30+ years of analogue knowledge which he has transferred into the cutting edge digital side of dental technology from designing and printing digital scans to fully designing and milling monolithic digital dentures.
In his spare time Paul enjoys Fishing and Scuba Diving both of which have taken him all over the world.

Jennifer has been a technician for over 15 years after gaining her HNC from Edinburgh’s Telford College in 2009. Jennifer joined the team in 2017, but a couple of years later she moved to the Scottish Borders and continued to work in a dental lab in Carlisle.
Fortunately, she found her way back to us in 2023 where she re-joined our prosthetics team.
Jennifer enjoys a mixture of conventional and digital techniques to make beautiful dentures. She’s also the go to person at Corus SDC Lab for any orthodontic appliances and always willing to try something new.
When not at the work bench Jennifer enjoys meeting with friends, spending time with her young family and all things country.

Becky has been part of the dental technology world since 2010, after completing her HND in Dental Technology.
She specialises in both prosthetic and orthodontic work and is known for her friendly, approachable nature and attention to detail . Becky takes pride in producing high-quality dental appliances that help dental teams achieve excellent results.
When she’s not in the lab, you’ll usually find her spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, or off on an adventure exploring Scotland’s stunning waterfalls.


Ross joined our team in October 2023. He started in the dental industry in 2019, working in private dental labs developing his skills and gaining experience as a Crown and Bridge Technician.
Ross is eager to continue his studies by obtaining his dental technology qualification at the University of Aberdeen and expanding his knowledge on fixed restorations from single units to full arch.
In his spare time he enjoys playing video games with his friends, walking his Cockapoochon Coco and running.


Blanka has always had a passion for dentistry and helping patients achieve their best smile. She began her journey in 2019, studying Dental and Oral Health Care and Dental Nursing, and has since gained four years of experience as a dental nurse.
In 2024, Blanka joined our team as a trainee dental technician in the Crown and Bridge department. She enjoys the creative aspect of her work—designing, paying attention to fine details, and continually learning to achieve the best possible results.
In her spare time, Blanka loves photography, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the company of her dog.

Kosta previously studied Dental Technology in Ukraine before joining our team in 2025 and is responsible for managing the printers, ensuring a smooth workflow, and making sure all models are prepared on time.
Kosta also works on completing surgical guides and stackables with great attention to detail.
In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Originally from Aberdeen, Marian brings a wealth of knowledge to our admin team. A formal dental practice manager, Marian keeps the team organised and ensures the efficient running of the diaries and lab cases.
Marian enjoys liaising with dentists and patients and is a natural problem solver, which is essential for a busy dental lab.
In her free time Marian enjoys hiking and exploring the city, when she doesn't have her hands full with a mischievous toddler!

Koemal joined our team in May 2023 after working as a Dental Nurse for over 10 years having went to Edinburgh College.
Koemal took the decision to leave nursing after the birth of her daughter, although still having a keen interest in dentistry, she was able to put her knowledge to good use in a new role at Corus SDC Lab. Joining our admin team she loves learning from our talented technicians and being able to provide patients with detailed information on any treatment they’re seeking.
In her free time, Koemal enjoys reading, baking/cooking and spending time with her family.

Tori joined our team in October 2024, bringing two years of valuable experience as an LDU nurse and dental receptionist.
She works closely with Marian as part of our CTS team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the lab and seamless communication between our technicians and clinicians.
Outside of work, Tori loves exploring new places and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Lauren joined our team in January 2024, bringing with her valuable experience as a dental receptionist.
As the welcoming face at our front desk, she ensures every patient feels comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive. Lauren plays an essential role in keeping our practice organised and running efficiently, always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending quality time with her family and indulging in her love of shopping.
